Annual Holiday Show and Sale

Enjoy festive refreshments by a cozy fire while Susanne joins us for conversations about their work.

The Annual Holiday Show and Sale is a special opportunity to view the remaining functional collection of Susanne and John Stephenson that is typically not on display. Work includes bowls of many sizes, mugs, plates, vases, covered-plates, ornate soup tureens, and many other recent discoveries. Their entire collection of sculptures will also be available for viewing. All artwork is original one-of-a-kind and was created right here in their studio on the west side of Ann Arbor.

The Holiday Show and Sale will be exhibited through December 21st.

Also on display will be notes, videos, travel maps, glaze plans, and drawings that offer a glimpse into the depth of their 60 year creative process.

Susanne and John Stephenson's 60+ years of work in ceramics and various other mediums have cemented them as familiar names in contemporary ceramics and sculpture both locally and internationally. Come see their studio nestled in the woods, learn about their process, view the newly opened gallery featuring guest artist Dennis Nahabetian, and explore the art-filled storage areas. All artwork is available for purchase.
