Mark Your Calendars for the 13th Annual Woodhull Winterfest, Saturday, November 30, 2024

Join us for an "Old Fashion Christmas Celebration" this year at the 13th annual Woodhull Winterfest Celebration. So, mark your calendar for Saturday, November 30, 2024. All activities will start at 11am and run throughout the day.

We are planning a Craft and Food Sale at the Town Hall from 11am until 3pm, so come support your local crafters and artisans where you can buy unique, authentically made goods from area artisans. There will be plenty of room to show and sell your wares. Contact us on Facebook or Mary Shupp at 607-661-0108 to book your spot.

There will be cookie decorating, crafts and activities for the children at the Woodhull Town Hall from 11am to 3pm. Throughout the afternoon the children and adults can participate in stringing cranberries and popcorn to place on the community tree. This activity will take place at the Town Hall. At 2pm children may gather at the playground for our first candy cane hunt.

This year we are adding a new flare to our annual Gingerbread house contest. This event will be held at the Milo Pick Center at 3 pm Instead of entering your individual creations you will enter teams of four, Winterfest will provide you will everything to make your creation. There are two categories: ages sixteen and over and fifteen and under. Each team will get one half hour to complete their house. There will be two winners per age groups. We are asking those that would like to participate to enter as a team by either contacting Mary Shupp at 607-661-0108 or emailing your concealed team into woodhullwinterfest@gmail.com  be creative and name your teams.

At 4 pm to 5:30 pm The Woodhull Community Band under the direction of Kathy Knowles will be performing at the Community Church of Woodhull. What a better way then to start off your Christmas Season. After the concert do not forget to join us downtown for our annual tree lighting, bonfire, smores and more. Even Old Saint Nick may make an appearance.

Admission for the day's event is free.

07:00 pm: until - A Visit from Santa Tree Lighting Bon Fire Smores, Hot Chocolate, Hot Cider and More (Feed Mill Patio)
