Austin Symphonic Band: "Celebration"

The Austin Symphonic Band, renowned for exceptional performances, presents its third concert of the season. The program promises a diverse range of music, from the playful "Variations on a Theme of Robert Schumann" by Robert Jager to a new Clif Jones arrangement of the American classic "Showboat." The audience will also experience the dramatic "Bacchanale" from Saint-Saens' "Samson and Dalila," and the world premiere of "Sinfonietta" by Ryan Fillinger - the winner of ASB's Second Young Composers' Contest. The concert will conclude with the energetic "Dance of the Jesters" by Tchaikovsky, ensuring a finale that's as festive as it is memorable.
