Glenn Vanstrum studied piano at an early age with his grandmother, Edna, who earned a piano MFA from Peabody Conservatory. Having majored in music at Grinnell College, he has studied with Nathan Schwartz, Cecil Lytle, and Luba Ugorsky. In addition to piano, Glenn, a retired physician, is a performing guitarist/singer/songwriter who writes and publishes fiction and non-fiction.
