Continuing one of the themes of the 2024.25 season, the SPCO performs Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's The Seasons, recently arranged by composer-violinists Jessie Montgomery and Jannina Norpoth. Originally written as twelve short pieces for piano two centuries ago, this 2020 arrangement reimagines the work for chamber orchestra, inviting listeners on a journey through each month of the year.
