Crystal Mountain Holiday Celebration

Celebrate the season at Crystal Mountain with tons of fun holiday activities for the whole family.

Happening Daily:
Snowiest Snowflake Contest: Visit the Park at Water’s Edge to create a unique snowflake. Prizes for the top three snowflakes in four age groups. Winners announced  January 1 and posted at the Park at Water’s Edge. You do not need to be present to win.

9-Hole Disc Golf Course: Available 9am - 5pm. Visit the Park at Water's Edge for a 3-disc rental set for $15. Please Note: There will be a $15 fee per disc for lost discs.

Family Crafts:  Make your own Puffy Pillow or grab a Build-a-Buddy Kit! Prices may vary. Visit the Park at Water's Edge for more information, or call 231-378-2238.

Michigan Legacy Art Park:  Open daily, dawn to dusk. Hike or snowshoe this 30-acre preserve with over 50 sculptures.

Outdoor Hot Tub:  Located at the Park at Water's Edge. Public hours are 9am - 9pm. Private hot tub rental is available nightly from 9:15pm - 10pm.  To book your reservation, please call the Park at Water’s Edge at  231-378-2238  or book online .

Ice Skate Rentals:  Glide across our ice skating rink, located in Barr Park right in the heart of Crystal's village. Visit the Park at Water's Edge for your rink pass and ice skates.  Ice skating is weather permitting.

Snowshoe Rentals:  Snowshoeing is permitted on all Crystal Mountain property except the downhill slopes and cross-country trails. Michigan Legacy Art Park  is also a beautiful snowshoe destination. For rentals, visit the Park at Water's Edge.  Snowshoeing is weather permitting.

Fat Tire Bike Rentals: Explore northern Michigan on two wheels with a Fat Tire bike ride. Visit the Park at Water's Edge for rentals!

Movie Rentals: Pick from a variety of favorites to take back to your room and enjoy a cozy night in. Visit the Park at Water's Edge for details. $5 per movie.

Scavenger Hunts: Visit the Park at Water's Edge for your clues! Free to participate.

Frankly Fun Playground: Slide, swing and climb at the Frankly Fun Playground, located behind the Mountain Adventure Zone.

Indoor Pool and Hot Tub: Open daily at the Peak Fitness Center!

Crystal Spa: Enjoy a variety of spa services ! Advanced bookings are highly recommended.

Activities:
Horse Drawn Surrey Rides: Be whisked away by a team of gentle Belgian horses. $15 per person; children under 2 years old are free with paying adult, or book online in advance and save $3 per person. Surrey rides depart every half hour from the Crystal Center. Reservations required, call 231-378-2238(Time listed represents the start time, additional times are available.

Outdoor Laser Tag: $18 per person for a 30 minute session. Ages 6 and up. Reservations required, call  231-378-2238  in advance to save $3 per person. (Time listed represents first session offered; additional sessions may be available.)

Archery: With target distances of 30 feet, our range is beginner friendly but challenging enough for the seasoned archer. $20 per person for a 30 minute session. Ages 7 and up. Reservations required, call 231-378-2238  in advance and save $3 per person. (Time listed represents first session offered; additional sessions may be available.)

Build-A-Buddy Workshop: Held in the Lobby of the Peak Fitness Center, select a buddy to take home. Kits are $30 and include a birth certificate, t-shirt and stuffing. Additional accessories are also available for purchase including outfits, wish hearts, and voice box recorders. Reservations are not required for this activity.

Glitter Tattoos: Held in the Lobby of the Peak Fitness Center, select a stencil and up to two shimmering colors. $10 per tattoo. Reservations are not required for this activity.
