Divaria Opera: We Are Carmen Somos Carmen

Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Carmen’s premiere and its inspiration on the music and dance of the Spanish-speaking world. A multidisciplinary piece featuring, opera, zarzuela, dance with selections from Carmen supplemented by other works set in the Spanish-speaking world (including zarzuela). Featuring Spanish mezzo-soprano Olivia Gomez, Sol y Sombra Dance Company and New Asia Chamber Orchestra. In We are Carmen all women are one woman, all at the same time. Every role is a small part of the same person forming a whole.
