Ecologically-Minded Museums: The Heritage Climate Action Plan

This community gathering is intended to share the SAAH project Building Climate Resilient Spaces for the Humanities: UIC’s Jane Addams Hull-House Museum & Gallery 400 as Sites of Heritage Justice. Funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, The Helen Frankenthaler Foundation Climate Initiative and the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation. The UIC Community and various stakeholders are invited to hear brief presentations By the PIs and the Steering Committee about the various aspects of the project and the ongoing work. There will be plenty of room for feedback and collective thinking about the priorities of the project aimed at making our public facing units climate resilient and sustainable, while advocating for environmental justice in museums and at our institution.
