The Wickford Art Association (WAA) is pleased to announce the opening of its newest exhibit, Every Picture Tells a Story, a juried photography show celebrating the art of visual storytelling. The exhibit will be on view from October 10 through November 9, 2025, at the WAA Gallery, located at 36 Beach Street in historic Wickford Village.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 10 from 5 to 7 p.m., free and open to the public. Guests are invited to meet the participating photographers and juror Michael Fanelli, an acclaimed photographer known for his creative vision and mastery of narrative imagery.
Through Every Picture Tells a Story, photographers from across the area interpret the theme by capturing moments that convey emotion, movement, and meaning, each image inviting viewers to see the world through a unique lens. Works on display will be available for purchase throughout the exhibit.
The Wickford Art Association gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday, 12–4 p.m. Admission is always free, and donations are appreciated to support ongoing exhibits, art education programs, and community events.
