The Bronx River Art Center is pleased to present its upcoming exhibition, Ingenuity: Art & Entrepreneurship of the Bronx, curated by Jordan Horton. This show features photography and film that reveals the diverse Bronx community through the eyes of local artists.

Seven dynamic Bronx-based artists serve as the visionary architects of this exhibition, channeling the heartbeat of their cityscapes to illuminate Bronx and New York iconography with depth and familiarity. Through their lens, they redefine the ordinary, revealing the remarkable magnificence of everyday scenes. Ingenuity becomes a testament to the Bronx's dynamic essence and cultural significance, vividly portraying its strength and vitality through the prism of artistic expression.

For the exhibition, viewers witness the visual journey through the multifaceted layers of Bronx life, as interpreted by its creative community. This celebration of the Bronx's unique identity not only captivates but also serves as a poignant reminder of the profound talent and boundless creativity thriving within our communities.

The Bronx River Art Center pays homage to the entrepreneurial spirit pulsating within these artists' veins in parallel with the exhibition. By fostering a collaborative workspace, BRAC provides a nurturing environment where creativity flourishes and ideas converge. For the duration of the exhibition, BRAC seeks to empower these artists to share resources, exchange insights, and coalesce their visions, further enriching the cultural landscape of the Bronx and beyond.

Ingenuity: Art & Entrepreneurship of the Bronx is a source of inspiration, igniting a conversation on the transformative power of art, community, and entrepreneurial endeavor. In the vibrant tapestry of global culture, the Bronx emerges as a guiding light, offering invaluable cues and boundless inspiration to all seeking to weave their creativity and innovation narrative.
