Exhibition - Mezcla: The Paintings of Jack Broderick

The Spanish word for mixture is mezcla. This show, if anything, is a mixture of my work over the years. I have always been reluctant to consider myself solely a landscape painter, or a still life painter or a portrait artist. Each painting is a new beginning. Each painting is a question and a wonder.

About the Artist

JACK BRODERICK paints every day in his studio at The Mill Works in Willington, CT. He uses both image and feeling in developing his paintings. To him, painting is a conversation between artist and subject whether the subject is a model, a landscape or a still life. He has traveled and painted extensively in Ireland, Argentina, Spain, Cuba and Italy. He has exhibited internationally in Paris, Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Palermo and Tilcara.
