Jazz Concert Series: Miho Nobuzane-Elijah Brazilian Quartet

Born in Osaka, Japan and collegiately-trained in classical piano, Miho Nobuzane-Elijah became inspired by jazz and Brazilian music after graduation.

She moved to New York in 1996 and soon flourished, especially in the city's Brazilian jazz scene where she has performed for years at top venues while also touring internationally, especially to great acclaim in Brazil and standing ovations in Japan.

The brilliant Brazilian guitarist Filo Machado says Miho "has Brazilian swing in her heart."
