JHP Legacy and Jack Straw Present: Santrofi

Santrofi is an Accra-based highlife band from Ghana. The band, founded and headed by Emmanuel Ofori, is well known for their classic music, which draws inspiration from funky soul, Afro-Cuban, highlife from the 1970s, and Afrobeat polyrhythms. As a result of their musical prowess, they had their first international musical gig at Germany's Fusion Festival before the launch of their debut album, followed by other musical festivals like FMM Sines, Amsterdam Roots, Roskilde, and WOMAD.
