Inspired by the true story of a traditional men’s footwear factory which turned to production of kinky boots for drag queens in order to save the ailing family business and safeguard the jobs of the local community. It’s a lively romp about a female impersonator who shows an uptight Englishman how save the day. Stellar performance by Chiwetel Ejiofor as transvestite cabaret singer, Lola.
