Knotts Island Peach Festival

You know it’s worth attending when the Ruritans have been successfully sponsoring this fun-filled affair for so many years - and down yonder in the country too! It just doesn’t get any better folks. Mark your calendars for July 26th, the hours are Saturday 10-6. There will be numerous vendors, with many assorted items to sell. Food Vendors are expected too . Ruritans Burgers, Hot Dogs, BBQ & slaw.  Cocktails will be mixed on site.  Come early as our peaches in recent years have sold out shortly after noon on Sunday. A covered Pavilion, but this Festival is in the open - sun gets warm - hats and chairs are good.All monies made are returned to our community churches, school needs, scholarships for usually two or more graduating Knotts Island Seniors going to a higher learning environment, community sports and so much more. Past Festival monies raised purchased this Community Park land and building, which was later donated to Currituck County. And yes, there will be lots of Peach Festival T-Shirts, plus Beer, Peach Wine and Slushy’s. Both days there will be Security Officials in attendance.
