The KindYourMind festival (KYMfest) is a fun FREE Family Festival that cultivates kindness, healing and awareness for all impacted by crisis and trauma. The festival brings community resources, local vendors and entertainment together encouraging ways to ‘Kind Your Mind’. Our trademark motto, #KindYourMind, is an adaptation for the name of our beloved sister Kym. We hope others see the importance of a kind mindset; in creating more love, compassion and understanding for ourselves and others.
KYMfest started as a memorial celebration for our youngest sister, Kymberlee Larsen, who was murdered in a domestic assault in March of 2018. Our family has since created this festival and For You Network, Inc. a non profit organization, as a way to gather with our community and connect others to supportive connections. By coming together annually, we honor Kym and all our community has lost due to such violence or a tragedy. Together we shed light on the ripple effect that trauma causes - as our family, friends and community are all deeply impacted.
Some things to expect at KYMfest:

*Learn about helpful resources and services available in our community
*Meet amazing local vendors and artists
*Bring the kids, activities include astro jumps, live animals (Clyde the camel!), tie-dye booth, princess/hero characters and more
*Cornhole tournament and free play starting at noon!
*Straight Clownin Car club awareness car show - lowriders, wasteland car, iconic cars
