9 a.m.: Designer Credited Course (CEU) "How Do Cultures Influence Color?" with Danielle Stallings of Sherwin-Williams
A complimentary one-hour CEU course so area designers can stay up-to-date with industry tools, trends, products and best practices. Open to design professionals. Located in Mary's Café.
Course Description: This course will begin with the exploration of diverse cultures and how color is perceived by these potential clients. We will identify the historical significance of color families and in conclusion, view and compare cultural similarities and disparities among color families. The goal is to assist designers in making better educated choices relating to color selection and taking into consideration the inhabitants of these multicultural environments.
About the Presenter: Danielle Stallings is a Residential Design Account Executive for Sherwin-Williams in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. She is thrilled to provide Omaha designers with one of Sherwin-Williams' newest CEU Presentations, How Cultures Influence Color. Danielle has been with Sherwin-Williams for over a decade in all color- and design-related roles. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and enjoys providing designers with her expertise of paint, coatings and color. Danielle's favorite Sherwin-Williams color is SW9154 Perle Noir.
