Discover the magic qualities of Miso to create the optimal balance of nature’s special flavors in delicious Asian inspired recipes!
Miso, a popular soybean-based condiment that adds a salty, tangy umami flavor to many Japanese dishes, is popping up everywhere. Originating in China and brought to Japan by Buddhist monks, miso has been a staple of Japanese cuisine for more than 1,000 years. In this hands-on class with our own Chef Thi, you’ll learn about miso while making Sticky Miso Chicken and Roasted Vegetables, Crunchy Spring Greens and Vegetables tossed with Miso Vinaigrette , and Miso Brown Butter Cookies.
