New Years Eve at The Archer Band

New Years Dance at Our Lady of Lourdes with "The Archer Band".Walk down the Red Carpet to enter and experience "A Night To Remember”. Our New Years dances have always been a big turn out with dancers.

Here are the reasons that you want to join us New Years Eve. We have food for grazing all night, the largest wooden floor around Birmingham, covered tables and chairs for everyone to sit, you can reserve a table for your group, 4+ hours of dancing to a great band that plays all genres of dance music from all eras of time , champagne or apple cider for toasting at midnight and breakfast after the midnight celebration!!! BYO Adult Beverages welcome .

Walk-ins welcome but reservations guarantee that you will get in.

We always have a lot of singles too so if you are alone don’t hesitate to join us for a fun night of dancing as there should be lots of others to dance with .

This is the one night of the year that is great time for everyone to dress up but it is not required ,so come dance with us either way.

The Archer Band has been offering great dance music to the Birmingham dancers for 17 years covering all eras of time dance tempos from East and West Coast Swing , Ballroom , Latin, Cajun, Line Dancing ,and more

The Archer Band consist of 8 members:

Ric Archer - lead guitarist ( from the Motown group The Temptation Review Featuring Dennis Edwards
Lindsey Shackelford -vocalist
James Butch McGee- vocalist, acoustic guitar and bass
Hayes Hopper - saxophone ( formerly with The Tikis’s and Brenda Lee)
Michael Shackelford - drums
David Hill on keyboard
Jan Archer Shackelford - bandleader - vocals, bass and guitar
