Ann Phong and Gloria Gem Sanchez

For Me and You features multidisciplinary artworks by Ann Phong and Gloria Gem Sanchez that celebrate kinship and legacy and draw attention to our collective impact on the ecosystems we inhabit and pass on to future generations.

Phong and Sanchez use recycled materials, pigments and paints, and organic and unconventional objects to create sculptural and two-dimensional artworks informed by their experiences in their respective diasporas. Their independent art practices overlap in a shared ethos of environmental sustainability and commitment to honoring intergenerational experiences and knowledge.
