Mike Goshorn returns as director for this Thornton Wilder’s classic. The story follows the lives of two families, the Webbs and the Gibbs and their children Emily and George, in the fictional town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, from 1901 to 1913. Through a minimalist stage and a set of narrators, the "Stage Managers," the play explores themes of love, community, death, and the significance of everyday life, highlighting the beauty and transience of human existence. This play is so incredibly well written, it actually won Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1938.
Make sure to come out and see our version of it. At Goose Creek Players, we aim to entertain.
