By Tennessee Williams

An American Masterpiece

Southern belle Blanche DuBois has unexpectedly arrived in New Orleans, setting in motion a dangerous power struggle between herself and her sister’s husband, Stanley. Tension builds, reality and illusion collide, and desires crescendo in this smoldering Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Tennessee Williams’ timeless masterpiece is a raging portrayal of what it means to be an outsider in a society where we’re all desperate to belong.

Flint Repertory Theatre’s production of A Streetcar Named Desire contains mature language and themes, including domestic violence, sexual assault, alcoholism, and mental health struggles.
