The Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley Band is an all-star bluegrass group featuring the dynamic playing of GRAMMY® and IBMA Award-winning artists Rob Ickes (15-time IBMA Resophonic Guitar Player of the Year) and Trey Hensley (2023 IBMA Guitar Player of the Year and "Nashville's hottest young player," according to Acoustic Guitar magazine) with 5-time IBMA Bass Player of the Year Mike Bub (The Del McCoury Band, Vince Gill, Sturgill Simpson) and IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year and IBMA Banjo Player of the Year honoree Ron Stewart (Dan Tyminski, J.D. Crowe & The New South, Sierra Hull). Ickes and Hensley, 2025 GRAMMY® Award winners as members of The Taj Mahal Sextet and 2023 Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival invitees, have been called "The Swiss Army Knife of roots music" by WMOT Radio's Craig Havighurst.
