To celebrate the launch of the Seeing through Stone exhibition catalog, join us for a talk with Caleb Duarte and artists from Santa Cruz Barrios Unidos, along with a special performance organized by Gabriela Golder.
A Long Line of Strong Women (Weaving through Time) is a performance proposal conceived by Gabriela Golder in collaboration with women living in the region who have been impacted by the global carceral system. Built through a series of shared conversations, meetings, and personal archives over the course of a month, the performance weaves together moments of confinement, resistance, and solidarity.
6pm: Talk with Caleb Duarte artists from Santa Cruz Barrios Unidos
7pm: A Long Line of Strong Women (Weaving through Time) performed by Diana Alejandrez, Lisa Alejandrez, Nancy Alejandrez, Ksenia Fir, Gabriela Golder, and Marissa Guzman
