Seminole Science Charter School and A Petrified Forest Team Up for Charity Event

On Saturday, Oct. 11, Seminole Science Charter School (SSCS) and A Petrified Forest – a haunted scare trail experience – will host a Kids Day event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with ticket sales benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

For just $5, guests can visit A Petrified Forest – located at 1360 E. Altamonte Dr. in Altamonte Springs – for a family-friendly morning full of costumes, games, food trucks, and trick-or-treating. SSCS students and staff donated more than 24,000 pieces of candy that will be distributed at the event.

Last year’s Kids Day raised more than $7,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help dreams come true for children battling serious illnesses.
