Sensory Friendly Performance - The Pied Piper of Hamelin

A friendly, supportive environment for individuals, groups, children, and families with special needs.

The performance and environment are adapted to maximize comfort and accessibility:​

- Live Sign Language Interpreter

- Lower volume

- No startling lighting effects or strobe lights

- House lights remain on  (20% light)

- Audience may get up, move around, or leave as needed

- Reduced performance length

- Allowed use of iPads and other electronics for therapeutic use

- Volunteers present to assist and direct audience members as needed

- Designated quiet areas for taking breaks

- Storyboards for performance plots

- Visits before or after public hours ​

Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance.​​

Run Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes​

No intermission, however, audience members are invited to come in and out, enjoy our designated quiet areas, or take care of their needs throughout the show!
