This month at Showcase 114 – le mur bleu, we invite you into a space of quiet reflection, empathy, and transformation. Held each Second Saturday in Studio 114, this pop-up exhibit series highlights artists whose work resonates visually and emotionally.

We are honored to feature the intricate and powerful work of Laine Swanson, a Twin Cities artist whose art invites us to contemplate the delicate intersections of life, pain, and healing.

Laine’s work explores time, structure, and the human form through a lens shaped by her personal experience with chronic pain and her values of empathy, inclusivity, and equality. Her art, at once bold and delicate, fuses technical anatomical precision with profound emotional resonance.
