Skylark is an innovative contemporary string ensemble based in northern Vermont. The ensemble includes violinists Jane Kittredge and Ana Ruesink, violinist and multi-instrumentalist Ben Lively, and cellist John Dunlop. Influenced by the Nordic, Celtic and American regions, Skylark’s sound and repertoire challenge the boundaries between the classical and folk traditions while creating melody-driven music with unique energy, irresistible flair and undeniable beauty.
