Sunday Classical: Duo Dolce: Laura Markowitz and John Dunlop

Sip your coffee and start Sunday on a high note throughout July and August with Sunday Classical!

Duo Dolce features Laura Markowitz on violin and John Dunlop on cello. Both members of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Dunlop and Markowitz also play with Eleva Chamber Players and the Opera Company of Middlebury, as well as other unique ensembles including Cricket Blue, the Rhizome Quartet, and as accompaniment to singer Moira Smiley. John also can be found with the TURN and Jukebox ensembles, premiering cutting edge contemporary music; while Laura plays in Sylvia, a quartet that features music by women composers. The Sunday Classical program will showcase an eclectic mix of baroque, classical and modern repertoire and even a few Celtic and Swedish tunes.
