The Taiwan Festival in Atlanta celebrates the richness of Taiwanese culture while deepening the long-standing friendship and business ties between Georgia and Taiwan. This two-day event invites the community to experience Taiwan through art, performances, and cuisine. Visitors will enjoy both traditional and contemporary programs—including live music, dance, visual arts, hands-on workshops, and authentic street food—showcasing the vitality and diversity of Taiwan.

The organizing committee has officially launched, initiated by Mr. Sung H. Chang, Councilor of the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC, Taiwan), with sponsorship from Mr. John Lu, President of the Atlanta Care and Assistance Association, and the Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta.

Dates: November 1–2, 2025, Noon to 9:00 PM

Location: Hickory Grove Shopping Center, Woodstock, GA

Theme: Freedom, Diversity, Vitality, and Cuisine — presenting the core values of Taiwanese people to mainstream society and media.

The festival’s English name, “Taiwan Festival (TaiwanFest)”, formerly known as “Taiwan Yes Night Market,” reflects the vision of continuing this tradition while expanding its reach to introduce new generations to the blend of Taiwanese heritage and innovation.

The organizing committee is currently led by Professor Dr. Dan Lo (Acting CEO) and is actively recruiting a permanent CEO as well as young volunteers with expertise in areas such as:

• Creative marketing & social media engagement • Website and program design

• Taiwanese cuisine preparation & vendor coordination • Government–business relations

• Event planning & logistics

• Stage, sound, and lighting design

• Venue layout, plumbing, and electrical setup

Taiwanese people often describe themselves as “Taiwanese Cattles”—a symbol of perseverance and hard work. With this spirit, they have built success from humble beginnings and earned recognition on the international stage.
