Teen Workshop: Earthquake of 1886

Learn about the most damaging earthquake to shake the Southeast. Read accounts from survivors, see photographs of the aftermath, and design your own structure to survive the Museum’s earthquake tables. Specially geared for teens, our Teen Workshops offer an opportunity to engage with a variety of topics including history, the natural world, and STEAM principles. Workshops include a lesson or guided tour and hands-on activities. For ages 13 to 17. Reservations required.
