The Charleston Museum

Hear the tale of America’s first female serial killer, Lavinia Fisher. But was she really the manipulative murderess and robber she was accused of being? Dive into historical records and folklore, then use your deduction to decide whether Lavinia is truly guilty of her crimes. After reviewing the evidence (or lack thereof), you will decide whether Lavinia is guilty of murder and highway robbery or if she was a victim herself. Specially geared for teens, our Teen Workshops offer an opportunity to engage with a variety of topics including history, the natural world, and STEAM principles. Workshops include a lesson or guided tour and hands-on activities. For ages 13 to 17. Reservations required.

$10 Museum Members | $15 Non-members
