The Best of the 48 Hour Film Project

Local Filmmakers – amateurs and professionals – were challenged to make a short film in 48 hours. The films are judged and YOU get to see the cream of the crop! The films are creative expressions of cinematic art produced under extreme pressure telling stories through various genres. Honor the art and honor our local artists at this presentation followed by the awards ceremony. The Best Film is destined for “Filmapalooza,” the international competition including films from 130 cities around the globe. The top films there go on to the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. The energy, joy, and excitement are palpable and contagious! Come as you are or dress for the red carpet – either way, you will have an evening to remember!
