A torrential downpour and flooded streets throughout town can’t stop  the ladies of the Charitable Sisterhood from meeting to organize relief efforts for homeless Guatemalans. But, what do you get when you mix a pastor’s wife, a mother of nine,  a transplanted Yankee, a frivolous ingenue, and a small mountain of community donations in the basement of a church? A hilarious story about a group of women who are determined to save the less fortunate and end up unexpectedly helping each other while finding a few surprises along the way!
