12 PM Ceremony Includes Veteran Recognition, Presentation of Colors, and Flag Planting

9AM - 4 PM at Continental Park at Fort Monroe  - Living History Interpreters, Exhibits, Food Trucks, Entertainment and Activities for All Ages!

At 12 noon at Continental Park, attendees will experience a heartfelt “Answering the Call” veteran recognition ceremony, including the Presentation of Colors and a special Flag Planting in honor of those who have served. This moving tribute will be followed by a lively afternoon celebration that’s perfect for the whole family, featuring interactive exhibits, live entertainment, food trucks, and activities suitable for all ages. The afternoon line-up includes the Kecoughtan High School Navy Jr. ROTC Drill Team, US Army TRADOC Rock Band, 99th NY Infantry D Company Bayonet demonstration, H.S.D. GlamSquad Dance Team demonstration and the Liberty Dolls.
