Don't miss the penultimate chance this season to take Volunteer Research Librarian Martha Smart's Ancient Burying Ground Tour. After this installment, there is only one more Tour this year. In addition to her work in the library, Martha is a long-time Wethersfield resident, who quite literally knows where all the bodies are buried. Learn Wethersfield’s history through the lives of the people who lived here.
Tours gather at the red barn in the First Church parking lot. In the event of rain, the tour will be given on Saturday, September 27. Tours last about an hour and a half. Admission is $10 for the general public and free to current WHS members. Due to the outdoor nature of the tour, only cash will be accepted.
