The Wilmington Boat Show is located in downtown Wilmington, NC on the Cape Fear River, the perfect boat - show setting. Wilmington is a port city in North Carolina known as a gateway to Cape Fear Coast beaches. Part of downtown’s Historic District, the Riverwalk is lined with restaurants, galleries, and shops. It runs along the Cape Fear River, where the Battleship North Carolina is moored.

CFCC Creative Arts Club will host “Kids Wooden Boat Building” where kids will build and paint a toy wooden boat. Kids, come assemble your very own boat and give it a custom paint job!

Yamaha Marine University
Cape Fear Community College, in partnership with Yamaha Marine, began offering Intro to Outboard Systems April 18, 2022. The 96 - hour Intro to Outboard Systems course covers charging, ignition, gearcase, lubrication, trim, tilt, and cooling systems with the four - stroke theory of operation.
