The Parade will showcase floats, marching bands, military units, Alumni krewes, motorized units and other elements of Louisiana's African American culture such as multiple elements from the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, which is New Orleans' oldest predominantly African American carnival krewe and community service organization, whose distinguished list of former kings includes Louis Armstrong. Beginning at the Louisiana Superdome and concluding at the French Market, the Thanksgiving Day Parade adds an exciting dimension to the Bayou Classic experience and involves the greater New Orleans community as well as sponsors and out-of-town guests.
