Stageloft Repertory Theater opened for business in the summer of 1994, in an occasionally bat-filled barn behind the Sturbridge Country Inn. It debuted in its present Main Street location in December 1998 with "Christmas Memories" on the playbill. Just-retired theater co-founders Edward and Ellen Cornely literally "ran the show" from the start. "I call it 'The Stageloft Family,' " said Ed, who credits the hard work of so many actors, directors, set builders, technicians and loyal patrons for Stageloft's 20-year run of success. With Christine and Scott Taylor now at the Stageloft helm, our "family" is looking to grow: Be part of the Stageloft experience!
