The arrival of Atlanta’s first public skatepark was greeted with great excitement – with real life skateboard legend Tony Hawk breaking it in. Located alongside the Atlanta BeltLine corridor in the shadow of Freedom Parkway, the park offers world-class skateboard amenities as well as a playground and multi-use athletic field. Opened in spring 2011, it has quickly become a hot gathering spot for skaters, athletes and families alike.
