The Rochester Folk Art Guild

1445 Upper Hill Road

About Us:

The group of Guild members who live at East Hill Farm includes single men and women as well as families with children. There are individual dwellings and dormitory style residences. Non-resident members come regularly throughout the week and on weekends to participate in the whole range of Guild activities. Cooking and coming together for meals help to connect the craftsmen and those working outdoors in the farm and garden.

The 350-acre East Hill Farm is located in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes Region, an area known for its rolling hills and vineyards. The physical beauty of the surroundings and farm life evoke themes in the crafts, and provide natural materials such as wood, vines, and clay. Time is available in the day to explore nearby ponds, fields, woods, and lakes.

Besides the sale of its crafts and produce, The Rochester Folk Art Guild is supported by contributions from members and friends. The Guild is incorporated as a not-for-profit educational organization and contributions toward its programs are tax-deductible.
