About Us:
In the spring of 2012, we officially opened the doors to the long-awaited renovation of Scott D. Eagles Skatepark at Veterans Park. The park was originally named in 1991, upon the donation of the still-present vert ramp by Joyce and Doug Eagles, parents of the late Scott Eagles, an avid young Prince William skateboarder.
Today the 11-ft drop vert ramp is accompanied by a concrete street-skating park designed by east coast skateboarders. The spacious 60-ft kidney bowl is situated next to the 6300 sq. ft. open-flow course, designed with several ledges, stairs, grind rails, ramps and jumps.
This free park is self-maintained and skaters participate at their own risks.
